Baby Gear 101 !
Welcome to a new world of commercialism and shopping. With companies trying to sell their wares it can be hard to be a discerning shopper. Just remember your baby doesn't love you because of what you've spent on them!
When choosing what to buy for your baby, there is a lot to consider - clothing, what to get to transport them here and there, toys, baths, feeding equipment, bedding.... the list goes on and on.
Some items are essential, while others you won't need at all, and still others that you don't 'need' but can certainly make life easier for you if you have them.
Not only will you be considering the usefulness of items and the price tag, but also thinking about environmental factors - what is your baby's carbon footprint going to be? What toxins are in your baby's clothing, bedding, baths and rooms?
These are important issues, and so we try to bring you information for baby gear that considers what toxins are going into your baby's body in their enviroment because baby's have not built up the necessary immunity to our world. With super-absorbant skin, your babe soaks up their environment, so eco and organic options are often best.
