Baby Care 101!
Many parent's imagine having a baby to be a beautiful, magical experience where everything goes exactly as planned...and a few of them get it...but for most Mums, caring for a baby can be a lot of hard work!
Dreaming of rainbows and lemon drops and finding out that this new baby pukes, it poos, it wees, it cries and it doesn't have the same sleep patterns as an adult draws new parents (whether it's their first or their 21st) into a realm of culture shock. For some it will last a few days, while others, will find that for months it's like being in a foreign country where you don't know the language.
While there are many different types of parenting styles, from the more traditional to attachment parenting, we try to give you a balanced view based on the latest research.
Nobody knows your baby like you do, and nobody is aware of your individual circumstances. You were also blessed with the amazing "mother's intuition" which will serve to help you through your babe's first year. There is not set perscription for babes. So gather your info, and make choices in your life and you babe's life on what is best for you - not a set of ideals that very few women can relate to.
